Self reflection

As we are heading towards the end of the semester, I must reflect how I am as a student. Through all the assignments, tests, reports and papers, I can say that I have put effort into everything I have done so far. Although the results may not be as I hoped in some cases, what matters is that I tried my best. This semester has gone smoothly so far, and I know that it will get harder as finals are coming up. As I have done so for this semester thus far, I will continue doing my best in the future as well.

Current Event #2

In 2020, Japan will host the the most futuristic Olympics to ever be seen in Tokyo. Robots, artificial meteors, and multilingual translation app are some of the technologies that will be showcase in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Japan, known for its technological advancements, hopes to launch their tech projects to impress the crowds as well as improve their economy. I think that it is a smart idea for Japan to show the world their technological progress during the Olympics. It is the perfect opportunity as the whole world will be watching the Olympics.  Japan will leave a legacy in their innovations. Through their showcase, they will pave way for further tech. advancements with other countries.

Energy Efficiency

Awareness of environmental conservation has always been something at the back of everyone's mind. As it is common knowledge that preserving energy will help the planet, enforcing this idea through one's action is something that takes more effort. Wilkes University has done their part in being environmentally conservative by providing recycling stations, motion sensors, and iMacs. However, I agree with the writer of the article, that it ultimately up to the community to make a conscious effort in bettering the environment. Without the participation of others, these attempts of being more energy efficient will be futile. People must do their part in conserving energy whether it being turning off their lights, recycling, or conserving water. If everyone takes a single step towards being energy efficient, as a whole, our community will be able to make a difference.

Favorite Childhood Memory

As I try to dig back into my bank of childhood memories, I realized that there are many memories I am fond of when I was a child. My most favorite would probably when I went to Vietnam for vacation with my family. I've gone to Vietnam a total of five times, and all the times were enjoyable. Most of my family live in Vietnam and going there allows me to spend time with my family. I also get to sight-see. Vietnam is my favorite place to visit and it is the place where I made some of my favorite memories.
