In 2020, Japan will host the the most futuristic Olympics to ever be seen in Tokyo. Robots, artificial meteors, and multilingual translation app are some of the technologies that will be showcase in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Japan, known for its technological advancements, hopes to launch their tech projects to impress the crowds as well as improve their economy. I think that it is a smart idea for Japan to show the world their technological progress during the Olympics. It is the perfect opportunity as the whole world will be watching the Olympics.  Japan will leave a legacy in their innovations. Through their showcase, they will pave way for further tech. advancements with other countries.

Energy Efficiency

Awareness of environmental conservation has always been something at the back of everyone's mind. As it is common knowledge that preserving energy will help the planet, enforcing this idea through one's action is something that takes more effort. Wilkes University has done their part in being environmentally conservative by providing recycling stations, motion sensors, and iMacs. However, I agree with the writer of the article, that it ultimately up to the community to make a conscious effort in bettering the environment. Without the participation of others, these attempts of being more energy efficient will be futile. People must do their part in conserving energy whether it being turning off their lights, recycling, or conserving water. If everyone takes a single step towards being energy efficient, as a whole, our community will be able to make a difference.
